Bean sprout stir-fry is a traditional Chinese side dish that may not look impressive, but it tastes absolutely fantastic. All you need are the sprouts themselves, vegetable oil, and a few spices (ginger, garlic, green onions). The sprouts are stir-fried over high heat for just a few minutes; they should remain juicy and crispy, but not soggy.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Peanut oil for frying
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced ​​green onions
  • 1 tbsp. chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 450 g bean sprouts, peeled

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat a wok thoroughly, coat it with oil, and add green onions, ginger, and garlic. Season with salt and stir.
  2. Add the bean sprouts and cook, stirring and quickly turning them over. Check for flavor. Serve immediately. Serve with rice. Serve on a small oval platter.
