Green Bean Stir-Fry with Bell Pepper and Sesame Seeds - A Detailed Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 340 g green beans (choose trimmed raw beans)
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons aged tamari soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cut the green beans into 5 cm (2 in) pieces at an angle. Place them in a frying pan. Add water and salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Place the pan back on the stove and add vegetable oil. Heat the pan over high heat until the oil begins to smoke.

    Place the beans and red pepper in a frying pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add soy sauce and sesame oil, and transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
