This refreshing summer alcoholic dessert is a perfect way to end a dinner. Made with fresh cherries and crushed ice, you won't need a powerful blender to turn the cocktail into a smoothie. It's perfect simply blended, allowing you to savor the ripe berries.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 1 cup cherries, halved, pits removed
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tbsp kirsch
- 0.5 cups heavy cream
- 6 tbsp. crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine cherries, 2 tablespoons sugar and kirsch in a bowl and mash with a mixer or potato masher, reserving any berry pieces.
- Let it sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to release the juices.
- Whip the cream with the remaining 2 tablespoons sugar until very soft peaks form.
- Add crushed ice to the cherries and stir thoroughly. Divide the mixture into 4 small glasses and top with a few dollops of whipped cream. Garnish with mint.
