This quick and delicious grape tomato gratin is a perfect side dish for any meal. The great thing about this recipe is the minimal prep required. Simply combine whole tomatoes with spices, fry in a pan, then top with a crispy breadcrumb topping and bake in the oven. It's ready in just 15 minutes!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 cups grape or cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 0.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In an oven-safe skillet, combine 4 cups grape tomatoes, 4 crushed garlic cloves, 1/4 cup olive oil, and 2 teaspoons fresh thyme; cook over medium-high heat until tomatoes are softened, 8 minutes.
