This thick, cheesy dip, made with chunks of crab meat, sweet roasted garlic, and Worcestershire sauce, is great for dipping crackers or toasted pita bread.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g of giant crab meat without shell
  • 1 cup grated pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 tbsp. grated parmesan
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (optional)
  • 5-6 roasted garlic cloves or 2 crushed cloves
  • 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.

    Place all ingredients in a casserole dish and mix gently but thoroughly. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve hot with crackers or toasted bread.
