Seafood is the foundation of many Creole dishes. The use of traditional herbs and spices creates a unique flavor, like in these burgers. Fry crab cakes using your favorite recipe and serve on buns with spicy coleslaw and Creole mustard.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 450 g of lump crab meat
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce, season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Combine 1 cup shredded cabbage, 1/4 cup each thinly sliced red onion and chopped parsley, 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon each Creole mustard, lemon juice, and honey; season with cayenne pepper and salt to taste. Serve the patties on buns with Creole coleslaw.
