For something more than just a burger, try seasoning your ground beef with Lawry's Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper Marinade. Grill the patties and serve them on buns topped with fried portobello mushrooms, bell peppers, and melty cheese.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 450 g of ground beef
- 3/4 cup Lawry's Garlic and Black Pepper Marinade
- 2 medium portobello mushroom caps
- 1 small green bell pepper, seeded and quartered lengthwise
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese
- 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 hamburger buns

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef with 1/4 cup of the marinade until smooth. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature reaches 160°F/71°C). Top each patty with a slice of cheese one minute before doneness.
- Meanwhile, grill the vegetables and mushrooms for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender, turning occasionally and brushing with the remaining 1/2 cup marinade.
- Slice the mushrooms and peppers into thin strips and place them on the bun-topped patties.
