The highlight of any summer burger is the mouthwatering aroma and flavor of the grilled patty. These Mexican-inspired burgers are perfect for a backyard grill party. The beef patties are served on crispy toasted buns with a corn and bell pepper salsa, red onion, tomato, fresh cilantro, and mayo mixed with chipotle chili peppers, which enhances the smoky flavor of your burger.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 170 g of ground beef
  • 1 can of canned corn
  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 small red onion
  • A handful of chopped cilantro

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine corn kernels and chopped bell pepper with lemon juice, olive oil and salt.
  2. Lightly toss 170g of ground beef with a generous pinch of coarse salt. Form the ground beef into a ball, then shape into a 2cm-thick patty; make a well in the center. Preheat the grill to high heat; brush the grate and patty with canola oil. Sprinkle the patty with salt and cumin and grill for about 4 minutes per side.

  3. Chipotle mayonnaise


    Mix 1/4 cup mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon crushed chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve the patties on a toasted bun slathered with chipotle mayonnaise, topped with corn salsa, red onion, tomatoes, and cilantro.
