1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.

- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- Hot water for a water bath
- Berries and fruits for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 150°C.
Place the sugar in a small saucepan and carefully pour in the water and lemon juice. Do not stir. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a simmer over medium-high heat, without stirring, until the mixture turns golden brown. Divide the caramel among 4 ramekins, filling them 1/4 full. - In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk. Pour the batter into the ramekins over the caramel.
Place the ramekins in a large baking dish and carefully pour hot water around the ramekins until it reaches the center of the dish. This will create a double boiler. - Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. The finished flan should jiggle when gently shaken. Remove the ramekins from the water bath and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
Run a knife along the edges of the ramekins. Invert the molds onto a plate and garnish with berries and fruit slices.
