Add a little spice to your favorite Margarita, and this fiery devil is sure to turn heads. We're talking, of course, about the popular Margarita cocktail. Mix the traditional ingredients: tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and syrup. Add orange juice and ice cubes with frozen Fresno peppers and grenadine. For a subtle kick, crush a hot chili pepper in it, releasing its oils. For an extra kick, serve the chilled, peppery Margarita in glasses rimmed with fiery-colored sugar.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 Fresno peppers, seeded and chopped, plus 2 seeded Fresno peppers, halved
  • 3 tbsp. l. grenadine
  • 1.5 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3/4 tbsp. tequila blanco
  • 1/4 tbsp. Triple Sec liqueur
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons light agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp. l. orange decorative sugar
  • 2 tbsp red decorative sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of yellow decorative sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine chopped peppercorns, grenadine, and 1/4 cup cold water in a blender and blend until smooth. Add 3/4 cup cold water and blend. Then pour into an ice cube tray and freeze for about 2 hours.
  2. In a pitcher, combine orange juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add the pepper halves and crush them lightly with a wooden spoon. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  3. Mix in a small bowl before serving. decorative sugarWet the rims of 4 short, wide glasses with water and dip them in sugar to create a rim. Fill the glasses with peppered ice cubes and strain the margarita into them.
