Cut any pumpkin in half, discard the seeds, and slice the flesh into wedges. Grease the entire surface with butter or vegetable oil and sprinkle the flesh with curry powder. Bake on a baking sheet at 200°C until soft, about 30 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
