Treat your loved ones to these wonderful French muffins for breakfast, which will lift your spirits with just their aroma. First, you bake regular muffins—fluffy and moist inside, not too sweet, with a spicy hint of nutmeg—they're delicious on their own. But then the magic begins: you dip each muffin in melted butter and roll it thoroughly in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. The coating should be thick and even. A true cinnamon lover's paradise! The beauty of these muffins is that they can be frozen, which preserves their flavor and allows you to enjoy them all week long.
