Pear cocktail with rum - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


For the cocktail:

  • 100 ml. pear nectar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 40 ml of rum
  • 1-2 Hall's lollipops
  • A pinch of salt

For the bacon:

  • 6 slices smoked bacon
  • 2 tbsp. l. brown sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare glazed bacon: Preheat oven to 350°F (160°C). Place a grill rack on a baking sheet. Toss the bacon with sugar and place on the rack. Bake the bacon in the oven until crispy, about 30 minutes. Cool.
  2. Prepare a cocktail: Fill a shaker halfway with ice, pour in rum, pear nectar, lemon juice, Hall's candies, and a pinch of salt. Shake well and strain into a short glass. Garnish with a slice of glazed bacon.
