The salad consists of sliced ​​pear, lettuce, pomegranate seeds, blue cheese, and honey. It's served with a dressing made from champagne vinegar, mustard, garlic, and lemon juice.


Ingredients:


For the salad:
  • 60 gr. Gorgonzola cheese
  • 8 tbsp. romaine lettuce or young spinach
  • 1 ripe pear
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. honey

For salad dressing:
  • 1/4 cup champagne vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a small glass bowl, thoroughly whisk together the champagne vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon juice, and ground black pepper. Then, whisking in the olive oil, drizzle in the dressing. Divide the mixture in half and refrigerate (the rest can be used as needed or saved for another use).
  • Step 2
  • Halve the pear, then slice thinly at an angle; fill a large salad bowl. Add romaine lettuce, pomegranate, crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, and drizzle with the Champagne dressing. Sprinkle evenly with ground pepper, then divide the salad among servings and drizzle with a little honey. Serve immediately.
