  • 1 bottle of champagne, chilled
  • 1 bottle Angostura bitters
  • 4 sugar cubes
  • Lemon twist, for serving
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Chill champagne flutes.
  • Step 2
  • Start by flavoring a sugar cube, hold it with kitchen tongs over the neck of the bitters, tilt the bottle and allow the sugar to soak in the tincture.
  • Step 3
  • Place sugar in the bottom of a flute. Fill the flute with champagne. Garnish with lemon twists. Make the remaining cocktails.
