Ingredients:


Ginger Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​ginger (about 60 g)
  • 1/2 cup vodka

Cocktail and garnish
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 3 tbsp. glazed ginger, diced for garnish
  • 1 bottle of chilled sparkling wine
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Ginger Simple Syrup:

    In a small saucepan, boil water with 1/2 cup sugar and chopped ginger for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vodka. Chill for 2 hours or overnight. When you need the syrup, strain it and discard the ginger pieces.
  • Step 2
  • Cocktail and garnish:

    Sprinkle sugar on a plate. Wet the rims of the glasses with lemon juice and immediately dip them in the sugar.
  • Step 3
  • Add a few pieces of glazed ginger to each glass. Pour in 1 tablespoon of ginger syrup and top with sparkling wine, filling the glasses 2/3 full.
