Bright as a fragrant spring flower, the Mimosa cocktail evokes a festive mood thanks to its main ingredients: sparkling wine and orange juice. This light, pleasant cocktail is quite simple to prepare. Mix champagne or any other white sparkling wine with fresh orange juice in a glass. Delicate raspberry notes add a more sophisticated flavor.


Ingredients:

  • 8 tsp. raspberry liqueur, such as Chambord
  • 8 raspberries, plus a few more for garnish
  • About 3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 bottle of champagne, prosecco or other white sparkling wine
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Pour 1 teaspoon of raspberry liqueur into 8 champagne flutes, add a raspberry, and mash with a pestle. Fill the flutes halfway with orange juice and top with champagne.
