Sunday Mimosa Cocktail

How to Make - Sunday Mimosa Cocktail
Kitchen:American,
Time: 5 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 2

Enjoy this light, vibrant cocktail leisurely over Sunday brunch, and it's sure to set the mood for the day. The classic Mimosa, made with sparkling wine and orange juice, gives way to the Sunday Mimosa, a blend of blood orange juice, pineapple juice, and orange liqueur. The flavor is more interesting and complex, and for a more dramatic presentation, garnish the rims of the glasses with pink decorative sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup pink decorative sugar
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of brut champagne
  • 4 tbsp. l. pineapple juice
  • 4 tablespoons blood orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
