Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of orange vodka
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 2 tbsp. pineapple juice
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice (4 to 5 limes)
  • Pineapple and mango pieces for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Make jalapeño syrupCombine sugar, 2/3 cup water, and half of the jalapeño pieces in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool completely, about 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Mash the remaining jalapeño pieces in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Add the pineapple juice; let the syrup cool.
  • Step 3
  • Strain the jalapeño syrup and pineapple juice mixture into a pitcher. Stir in vodka, mango, and lime juice and chill until ready. Pour into ice-filled glasses; garnish with pineapple, jalapeño, and mango skewers.
