This filling and nutritious smoothie is a must-try in the summer heat. It'll satisfy your hunger without adding too many calories. To fully enjoy its tropical freshness, make it with frozen fruit. Banana, mango, and pineapple, combined with ground oats, will provide plenty of essential fiber, while coconut milk adds a truly heavenly flavor and a silky, creamy texture. Serve the smoothie in chilled glasses, garnished with pineapple wedges.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 cups oatmeal
  • 1 small banana, peeled and cut into 4 pieces
  • 1.5 cups coconut milk
  • Juice of half a small lemon (about 1 tbsp.)
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup frozen mango, diced
  • 3/4 cup frozen pineapple, diced
  • Fresh pineapple wedges, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the oats in a blender, cover, and pulse until smooth. Add 2 ice cubes, banana, coconut milk, lemon juice, vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cover and pulse until smooth. Add the mango and pineapple, cover, and pulse until smooth, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour the smoothie into two large chilled glasses and garnish with pineapple wedges.
