Get a morning boost or a mid-morning snack with this vibrant green smoothie, packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Made with fresh kale and spinach, their herbaceous flavor is beautifully complemented by the tropical sweetness of pineapple, mango, and coconut water.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 0.5 cups frozen pineapple
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • In a blender, combine 1 cup each of kale and baby spinach, 0.5 cups each of frozen pineapple, frozen mango and ice, half a small banana, and 1/4 cup each of pineapple juice and coconut water. Blend.
