This vibrant green smoothie is rich in fiber, vitamin C, and lutein (good for vision). Keep frozen grapes in the freezer for a quick breakfast smoothie or a healthy drink anytime.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped fresh pineapple, plus a wedge for serving
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 cup frozen green grapes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place the pineapple, kale, grapes, lemon juice, ginger, and flaxseeds in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, stopping the blender as needed to mash the ingredients with a spatula or wooden spoon. If needed, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to adjust the consistency. Pour into a glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
