This vanilla-orange smoothie is the perfect way to start your day! Delicious and nutritious, it lifts your mood and provides long-lasting energy. Add honey for sweetness, but the banana and orange juice might be enough for you.


Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials Vanilla Flavored Nutritional Breakfast Drink
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1-2 tbsp frozen concentrated orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 3-4 ice cubes
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine milk, vanilla extract and banana in a blender and blend.
  • Step 2
  • While the mixture is blending, add frozen orange juice, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth. This makes one large smoothie or two smaller ones if you'd like to share!
