A smoothie made with frozen berries and fruits can be a substitute for ice cream. But unlike traditional ice cream, it's healthier and lower in calories. The perfect summer dessert! Bananas are considered one of the best fruits for smoothies. They're nutritious and quite sweet, so you won't need to add any extra sugar. Blend them with strawberries for a more classic flavor combination, or with raspberries or cherries. Milk and yogurt will give the smoothie a silkier texture and a creamier taste. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy.
