Banana is the perfect ingredient for a delicious smoothie. It thickens the drink, adds nutrition, and sweetness even without sugar. Adding a couple of dates to the smoothie will enhance the sweetness and make the flavor even more enjoyable. Blend the fruit with walnuts, almond milk, coconut water, and ice for a more refreshing taste. The result is a moderately sweet drink with rich nutty notes and a light tropical aftertaste.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Half a peeled medium banana
  • 0.5 cup almond milk
  • 0.5 cup coconut water
  • 3 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 2 dried dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1.5 cups of ice
