If fresh berries are out of season, use frozen berries to make a vibrant, high-fiber smoothie. Beets add a satisfying flavor and are a source of antioxidants and fiber.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 small red beetroot, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups frozen berry mix (strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the berries, 0.5 cups of cold water, beetroot, lemon juice, honey, and coconut oil in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, stirring occasionally with a spatula or wooden spoon while the blender is running. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to achieve the desired consistency.
