A recipe for a tea-based drink with rum and vanilla vodka, made in a slow cooker. Condensed milk is added.


Ingredients:

  • 16 black tea bags with masala spices
  • 1/2 cup spiced rum
  • 1/2 cup vanilla-flavored vodka
  • 2 cinnamon sticks, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 cups of condensed milk with sugar
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour 8 cups of boiling water into the slow cooker. Place the tea bags in the slow cooker, allowing the paper labels to hang over the edges. Close the lid and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
  • Step 2
  • Add rum, vodka, and cinnamon sticks to the saucepan. Cover and simmer on low for 2 hours. Stir in the condensed milk and switch the slow cooker to the warming setting. Keep the tea warm until serving. Pour the tea into mugs and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
