Pizza "Putanesca" - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tbsp anchovy paste or 6 anchovy fillets
  • 340 g smoked mozzarella, sliced ​​very thin
  • 1 can (800 g) of diced baked tomatoes
  • 3 finely chopped cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped good quality pitted olives
  • A handful of chopped parsley
  • 1 ready thin pizza crust
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.

    Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Pour in the olive oil and swirl it around the bottom of the pan twice. Add the garlic, anchovy paste, and red pepper flakes. Once the anchovies (if whole) have dissolved or the garlic has softened, about 2 minutes, add the tomatoes and olives.

    Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes. Spread the sauce on the pizza and top with slices of smoked mozzarella. Bake the pizza until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy, 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
