This pizza is made in a roll. It's impressive and unusual, yet the flavor remains just as amazing. This pizza is perfect as an appetizer at more formal events. Kids also love pizza rolls! If you're making it with store-bought dough, the whole process won't take long. For the toppings, prepare slices of Italian prosciutto, high-quality olive oil, grated mozzarella, and fresh spinach. Arrange everything on a sheet of dough, roll it into a roll, and bake. The finished pizza is cut into slices, making it perfect for taking to school.


Ingredients:

  • 450 g pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp. (220 gr.) grated mozzarella
  • 200 g thin slices of prosciutto
  • 1 cup (about 45 g) torn small spinach
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • Flour, for work
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Position a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Step 2
  • On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the pizza dough into a circle 12-14 inches in diameter and about 0.5 inches thick. Sprinkle the dough with 0.5 cups of mozzarella. Arrange the prosciutto on top of the cheese in a single layer. Sprinkle with spinach. Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Step 3
  • Take one end of the dough and roll it up, carefully tucking the ends in. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place the dough, seam side down, on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown on top. Let the pizza cool for 10 minutes. Slice the pizza with a serrated knife into 2-cm-thick slices and serve.
