Black and Orange Cocktail - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 blood orange, sliced ​​into circles
  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar
  • 60 ml bourbon
  • 15 ml. dry vermouth
  • 5 dashes (20-25 drops) orange bitters

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking sheet with foil and grease it with oil. In a medium bowl, combine orange slices, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and cane sugar.

    Place orange slices in a single layer on a baking sheet; bake, turning once, until oranges are glossy and beginning to darken around the edges, about 15 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Combine bourbon, vermouth, the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and bitters in a shaker; fill with ice. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass; garnish with a slice of darkened orange.
