Chicken, curry and apple rolls - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 3/4 cup boiled chicken, diced
  • 1 cup canned chickpeas, rinsed, drained, and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup 2% natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp. curry powder
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 2 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 large lime)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup sweet mango chutney sauce
  • 115 g crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce to taste
  • About 4 cups thinly sliced ​​romaine lettuce
  • 1 unpeeled apple, cut into 0.5 cm slices.
  • 4 whole wheat roti flatbreads size 30 cm.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large bowl, combine the following ingredients: chutney, yogurt, curry powder, oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk the mixture until smooth.

    Add chickpeas, goat cheese, green onions, mint, chicken, raisins, hot sauce to taste, lettuce and apples.
  2. Place the filling in the center of each roll, leaving a 5-7 cm border. Fold this border over the filling, then fold the top and bottom edges over and roll into a tight roll. Cut each roll in half and serve.
