Spring rolls with cheddar cheese and broccoli - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups grated sharp cheese Cheddar (approx. 150 gr.)
  • 300 g yeast dough for pies (French dough)
  • Coarse salt
  • 1.5 cups chopped broccoli
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. l. chopped chives
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing
  • Flour for dusting
  • 1 large egg
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Prepare the filling: Boil the broccoli in salted water for 1 minute. Drain and rinse under cold water, drain in a colander, and squeeze out excess water. Combine the broccoli, cheddar, sour cream, and chives in a small bowl, and press the mixture together with your hands.
  • Step 2
  • Preheat oven to 200°C and grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, divide into 4 pieces, spoon the filling onto each piece, and roll into flat rolls.
  • Step 3
  • Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet. Beat the egg and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl; brush the rolls with the egg. Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
