The easiest way to make a delicious and juicy broccoli casserole. It's made with broccoli florets (blanch frozen ones), mayonnaise, grated cheddar, canned cream of mushroom soup, and eggs. Simply mix all the ingredients together in a deep baking dish, sprinkle with crushed crackers, drizzle with butter, and bake until golden brown. The resulting casserole has a crispy crust, revealing a chewy, juicy filling filled with healthy broccoli. Serve as a standalone dish or as a side dish with meat.


Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (280g each) frozen chopped broccoli, boiled and drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar
  • 1 can (300 g) canned cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cups crushed crackers
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, mayonnaise, cheese, soup, and eggs. Mix well with a metal spoon. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with crushed crackers and drizzle evenly with melted butter. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
