This simple broccoli recipe is perfect for a quick, delicious vegetable side dish. All you need is olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Once you've separated the head of broccoli into florets, don't throw away the thick stem. Peel it, slice it thinly, and add it to the oven.

  • 1 head of broccoli (about 450 g)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

  • Preheat oven to 220°C.

  • Wash the broccoli in cold water and pat dry. Peel the stems and slice them into rounds, cutting down to the branching point of the florets. Separate the head into florets.

  • Toss the broccoli florets and stem pieces in a large bowl with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake until tender, stirring halfway through, 14-16 minutes, depending on the size of the florets. Transfer to a plate and serve.
