Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a bowl, combine sugar, salt, five-spice powder, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Brush both sides of each sheet of dough with vegetable oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Cut diagonally in half and place on two greased baking sheets.
- Roast the wheat chips in a preheated oven at 190°C for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool completely.
