You can bake delicious homemade white bread in the oven, even without a special bread machine. You'll need a minimal amount of ingredients: dry yeast, butter, flour, and a little sugar and salt. The dough is fairly easy to knead, but be prepared for a long process, requiring about three hours of rising time. But it's worth it, and the results will be impressive. You'll get amazing bread made from natural ingredients, with the perfect texture for any sandwich.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

- 55 g melted butter + extra for greasing the pans
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a bowl, combine the yeast and 2 cups of warm water. Add the butter, sugar, and salt. Using a wooden spoon, stir in a third of the flour until smooth. Add another third of the flour and mix well, then turn the dough out onto a floured board and begin kneading. Knead for 15 minutes, adding more flour as needed. Be careful not to let the dough dry out; it should remain sticky. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Knead the dough for another 5 minutes, put it back in the bowl and leave to rise for another 1 hour.
- Grease 2 loaf pans with butter. Form the dough into 2 loaves and place them in the prepared pans. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
Bake the bread until golden brown and cooked through, 30-35 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool.
