If you love Asian fried rice, try cooking quinoa using the same technique to add variety and health to your diet. Cooked quinoa is pan-fried with vegetables, garlic, ginger, dark sesame oil, and mirin (rice wine), giving it a distinctive Asian flavor. Be sure to rinse the quinoa thoroughly before cooking to prevent it from becoming bitter. It takes just 20 minutes to cook and is delicious. Serve as a side dish with roasted meat and poultry.
