Summer is the season for strawberries and fun beer parties. Combine the two and enjoy this refreshing lager cocktail with fresh strawberries and a touch of red wine vinegar for tartness. This recipe serves 6. Serve over ice.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 cans (450 ml) of chilled light beer
  • 120 ml elderflower liqueur
  • 2 tsp bitters

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine 1 1/2 cups quartered strawberries, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar in a pitcher. Stir with a wooden spoon, then let sit until the sugar dissolves, about 10 minutes.
  2. Add two 450 ml cans of chilled lager, 120 ml of elderflower liqueur and 2 teaspoons of bitters. Serve over ice.
