Cucumber and papaya salad - detailed recipe.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 large papaya, peeled and cut into 1 cm cubes
- 6 lettuce leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 teaspoons of sugar
- 1/4 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. l. peanut butter
- 1 tsp chili pepper paste
- 2 tsp chopped fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Sprinkle the cucumber with salt, place it in a colander, and let it drain for 20 minutes. Wash and dry.
In a bowl, combine the wine vinegar, sugar, peanut butter, chili paste, and ginger. Add the cucumber, papaya, and cilantro and toss to combine. Arrange on a serving platter or, on 4 serving plates, arrange the lettuce leaves and top each with about 1/2 cup of lettuce.
