Mulled wine with Spanish wine - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 bottles (750 ml) Rioja (Spanish red wine)
  • 1 tbsp. brandy
  • 1 pack of frozen cherries
  • 1 pack of frozen peaches
  • 1 orange, sliced ​​into rounds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup sugar syrup (see recipe below)
  • Orange peel for decoration

Sugar syrup:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • Zest of 1 orange

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Set the slow cooker to HIGH and cook for 1 hour. Switch the slow cooker from heat to keep warm.
