Sparkling wine and pear cocktail - detailed recipe.

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry sparkling cider
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp. coriander seeds
- 2 cups white cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup pear-flavored Calvados
- 2 thinly sliced pears

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a small saucepan, simmer the fennel and coriander seeds with 1/2 cup water and sugar for a few minutes over high heat. Then reduce the heat and simmer the syrup for about 5 minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool, then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
- A few hours before serving, strain the syrup into a glass jug. Add cranberry juice, Calvados, and pears.
Pour sparkling wine into a pitcher and stir, then pour the cocktail into brandy glasses filled with ice.
