Add maraschino syrup and a cherry to the traditional French 75, a cocktail made with gin, lemon juice, and sparkling wine, for a fresh, vibrant flavor. This delicate pink cocktail, served in an elegant glass, will be the perfect addition to any bachelorette party or other special occasion.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 45 ml of gin
  • 22 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 7 ml. maraschino syrup (from a jar of cherries)
  • 60 ml sparkling wine
  • Lemon wedge and maraschino cherry, for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare sugar syrup:

    In a small saucepan, combine sugar with 1/4 cup water and heat over medium heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves; let cool.
  2. Combine gin, lemon juice, cherry syrup and 7ml simple syrup in a shaker with ice; shake well.

  3. Strain into a coupe glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a maraschino cherry.
