The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 900 g peeled and gutted shrimp (21-25 pcs.)
  • Salt
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon crushed chili pepper flakes
  • 2 finely chopped green onion stalks
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 30 g capers
  • 1 stalk of celery, chopped
  • Half a sliced ​​avocado
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Cucumber slices for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the garlic cloves, lemon halves, and chili pepper. Add the shrimp and simmer until pink, about 5 minutes. Remove the shrimp and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, green onions, red onions, capers, celery, and avocado.

    In a small bowl, combine oregano, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and vinegar. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss again. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve on cucumber slices.
