Bacon-wrapped chicken rolls - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 570 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
  • 450 g of bacon, cut into strips
  • 0.66 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp chili powder (spice mix with chili pepper)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cut the chicken into 3-cm-thick cubes. Cut each piece of bacon into 3 pieces. Wrap each chicken cube in bacon and secure with a wooden toothpick. Mix brown sugar and chili powder. Roll the wrapped chicken in the mixture.
  2. Coat a rack and baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the rolls on the rack set over the baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (170°C) for 30-35 minutes, until the bacon is crispy.

    This appetizer is best served with white Chardonnay wine.
