How to Make Spicy Pineapple Margarita

Use a strainer when preparing a cocktail.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 120 grams of high-quality silver tequila
  • 50 g agave syrup or simple syrup
  • 4 2.5cm thick pieces of pineapple, plus slices for garnish
  • 2 sprigs of fresh cilantro
  • 2 (about a centimeter thick) slices red chili pepper (with seeds), plus more for garnish
  • 120 gr. pineapple juice
  • 60 gr. lime juice (from 2 lemons)
  • 30 g of triple sec orange liqueur
  • Coarse salt, for garnishing glasses (optional)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large shaker, combine tequila, syrup, pineapple, cilantro, and chili pepper; shake with the end of a wooden spoon.
  2. Add pineapple juice, lime juice, and triple sec to a shaker and fill with ice. Cover and shake for 15 seconds.

  3. Strain the cocktail into 2 rock glasses filled with ice. (If desired, garnish the rims of the glasses with salt, dipped in lime juice.) Garnish the margarita with pineapple wedges and chili pepper. (See another variation of this cocktail)
