Traditional Mexican quesadillas are made with a cheese filling, and this classic combination is almost always a surefire winner. Besides being delicious, the dish is also incredibly easy to make. This recipe is a lifesaver when you don't have the time or the inclination to spend a lot of time cooking.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Place the tortilla on a baking sheet and sprinkle a little cheese on one edge, trying to leave some space at the edge. Fold the tortillas in half like a taco to create a crescent shape. Heat a skillet over low heat. Add 1 tbsp (15 g) of butter.
Place the tortilla in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Carefully lift the edge with a silicone spatula to check. Once one side is golden brown, flip the tortilla over and press firmly. Cook until golden brown and the cheese is melted. - Using a spatula, transfer to a separate plate or a large platter. Repeat with the remaining butter and tortillas. Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole on top.
