A simple and quick recipe. Plus, it's a great way to use up a can of tuna. You can even try making these quesadillas in the microwave. It only takes a minute to assemble and another minute to reheat. The melted cheese ties all the flavors together beautifully.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 small (85g) cans of tuna, drained and divided into pieces
- 1/2 cup salsa, make it thicker by removing excess liquid
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp. coarsely grated cheddar
- 3 (diameter 30 cm.) wheat tortillas

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Mix the tuna with salsa and green onions. Add the cheddar. Divide the mixture into 3 portions and distribute among the tortillas, spreading the filling along one edge. Top with basil leaves. Then fold the tortillas in half like tacos.
- Toast each quesadilla on both sides in a hot skillet until the cheese melts and seals the filling. Cool slightly, cut into triangles, and serve.
