Smoked shrimp with grilled tomato cocktail sauce
Votes: 1

Time: 35 min.
Brush the shrimp with vegetable oil and grill for a few minutes until golden brown. Meanwhile, add the tomatoes to the grill so they brown nicely and develop black spots. This will impart a distinctive smoky flavor to the sauce, enhanced by the smoky chipotle peppers. Sweet, fleshy tomatoes, such as plum or oxheart, are best. Blend them with honey and spices and serve with the shrimp.
