This hearty burger has everything many people love for breakfast: a juicy beef patty, melting cheese, a fried egg, and crispy fried bacon, all on a soft, buttered sesame seed bun. The fried bacon, along with the rendered fat used to fry the patties and eggs, gives this burger its special flavor. It's incredibly juicy and delicious.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Form the ground beef into 4 patties, each approximately 7.5 cm in diameter. Season the patties generously with salt and black pepper and set aside.
- Place the bacon in a large nonstick skillet and cook over medium heat until browned and crispy, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess fat. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of the rendered fat in the skillet; drain the rest and set aside. Increase the heat under the skillet to medium-high.
- Place the patties in the skillet and cook until golden brown on the outside and medium-rare on the inside, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked patties to a rimmed baking sheet and top with a slice of cheese. Brush the insides of the buns with melted butter and place them butter-side up on a second baking sheet. Bake until the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes, and the buns are lightly toasted, about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, wipe out the skillet. Heat 1 tablespoon of the reserved bacon drippings over medium-high heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place a patty on each bottom bun and top with 2 slices of bacon and a fried egg. Spread a small amount of the top bun. ketchup and cover the burger.
