Burgers
- 1 tbsp. grated cheddar
- 1 cup red onion, diced
- 700 g lean ground beef
- 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 4 buns

Mix all the necessary ingredients and set aside.Burgers
Heat grill to medium-high heat.- In a bowl, combine the cheddar and onion. Set aside.
- Slowly mix the ground meat, pepper, salt, garlic, oregano, cumin and egg until smooth.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized balls. Flatten them so that each is 1 cm wide. Place 1 tablespoon of the cheddar and onion mixture in the center of each patty. Seal the mixture securely and form the mixture into a ball again. Now form the patties into 2 cm thick patties. Grill for 5 to 6 minutes, turning only once.
- Grill the buns on the sides of the grill. Place the patties between the buns and serve with hot ketchup.
